About

Joachim Fleinert (b.1984 in Denmark) is a visual artist and photographer based in Copenhagen. His projects often emerge from personal journeys connected to his life and background as a Dane. Through his work, he explores themes such as Danish history, national identity, and heritage, frequently addressing taboo or controversial topics at risk of being overlooked or forgotten. His experiences living, traveling, and working in Mexico and Russia have informed a strong commitment to human rights, feminism, and social critique. This is particularly evident in his projects The Mexican Boxand Whispers From The Inside, which can be viewed on his Instagram profile: @joachimfleinertstudio.

In addition to exhibiting in physical spaces, Joachim Fleinert’s digital works and NFTs are also presented in Metaverse exhibitions within virtual reality (VR), as well as in digital pop-up exhibitions that incorporate augmented reality (AR) in public spaces.
